I continue to overhaul my website giving it a much more brighter and less cluttered look. I started this endeavor a few years back but then things got extremely busy a few years back. With the recent pandemic I’ve been working from home for just about the past two years. My business travel has been nil as well as very limited personal travel as well. About 11 years ago I was diagnosed with Meniere’s Disease. It doesn’t make me more susceptible to catching COVID, but if I were to catch it there is about a 50/50 chance it would make my Meniere’s symptoms worse. But more about that at another time.
Due to the lack of travel i have had the yearning for such places as Alaska and Wyoming. As a matter of fact the images in this journal entry are from a couple of years ago when I ventured exeperience winter in Yellowstone. I have always see photos and read about the beauty of winter in Yellowstone and I was not disappointed. I fact these spectific photos I am sharing is when the early morning tempertures plumitted to minu 30 degrees below 0. I was the first time in my life I had ever experienced temperatures at such extreme conditions.
Neeless to say I did survive the brutal cold and the camera gear functioned when called upon despite a few momements of user error. Plan to post a photo essay about Yellowstone ad 30 below. That is a new section I am working on for my website. I am working on the layout right now but wanted to try something a little different from what I’ve done in the past to stay tuned. In the mean time enjoy these images from Yellowstone in the winter.
