As they say, “The stars at night are big and bright”. This is a photo that I took as we were wrapping up the first evening of light painting photography at Palo Duro Canyon with Wyman Meinzer. I bumped the ISO up on my camera to 3200 and opened the aperture up to f/2.8 to see how many stars I could capture. Again, the halo along the edge of the canyon are from the lights of Amarillo, Texas.
I processed most of the image in Photoshop CS6 utilizing Nik Software’s Viveza and Color Efex Pro 4. One that that I noticed was the image looked quite a bit different when I quit and saved the image and ten came back into Lightroom 4. At this point I’m not quite sure what is up with that so I will need to go back through and take a look at my settings in both Photoshop and Lightroom.
